Orange Food Color, Organic Orange Food Color is made from organic annatto seeds. This natural food color is commonly found in many foods products such as cheese, butter, popcorn, rice and crackers. 

Replacement of Yellow #6: Natural food colors are becoming more popular with consumers especially since evidence shows some individuals having hypersensitivities to artificial colors. 

This all natural vegetable dye is also a powerful antioxidant and has many health benefits. Antioxidants from fruits and vegetables have been found to be free radical scavengers which may help to prevent cancer, fight heart disease and slow the ageing process. 

Applications: These colors work well in ice cream mixes, baking applications, beverages, sauces, snow cones, candy formulas, frostings and dairy products. The product should be diluted at about 1 to 2 drops per pound of finished goods for a bright orange color. There is no risk of toxicity with this natural colorant at higher levels. Natural colors may not be heat stable and may change their original color at high temperatures.
