Echinacea is native to America and grows from the prairie states northward to Pennsylvania, with a flowering time from June to October. Native Americans used Echinacea as one of their favorite herbs. Long valued for its unique properties, Echinacea is now believed to offer support to the immune system where it defends the body. We’ve combined Echinacea with ginger for its ability to warm the body and aid the sweat glands, plus Astragalus which is widely used in Chinese herbalism. Steeping Directions:
Pour one cup of fresh boiling water over tea, steep 4-6 minutes. The longer the tea steeps, the stronger the flavor. Lemon or honey may be added.
