Tea Type:
Black tea is made from the Camellia sinensis bush. The leaves from this bush grow black as they oxidize, giving the tea its characteristic color. Black tea tends to be higher in caffeine than other types of teas, making it an excellent morning drink when you need to feel more awake and alert. There are studies which have shown that the antioxidants in black tea, such as polyphenols and catechins, may reduce atherosclerosis and the risk of heart attacks. Drinking black tea may also lower one's risk for diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney stones, and more. History & Health:
Rani Assam Black Tea comes from the Satrupa Estate in Assam, India, near the state capital Gowahati. It grows in the lush and shady valley that is surrounded by the Himalayas and produces a cup of tea that contains a moderate caffeine level, which can be perfectly paired with breakfast or utilized as an afternoon pick-me-up.

Steeping Directions:
Pour one cup of fresh boiling water over tea, steep 3-5 minutes. The longer the tea steeps, the stronger the flavor. Add milk and sugar if desired.
