Seelect Tea’s Organic Alfalfa Tea is rich in Vitamins A, C, D, and K and also contains potassium, phosphorus, iron, and magnesium. The name ‘alfalfa’ originally comes from the Arabians, who called it al-fal-fala, which means father of the foods. Other Seelect Tea specialty teas include Mullein Tea, Goldenseal Herb Tea, and Hyssop Tea. The Spanish later shortened it to ‘alfalfa.’ Alfalfa is also referred to as Holy-Hay and Lucerne. Pour one cup of fresh boiling water over tea bag, steep 4-6 minutes. The longer Seelect Tea’s Alfalfa Leaf Tea steeps, the stronger the flavor. Lemon or honey may be added.
